About this vehicle 1949 GMC Cabover. Mounted on an 1980 Chev 1 ton van chassis. I purchased it as a basket case. Comes with a Buick 340 that I was told was remanufactured. The transmission is a Buick switch pitch turbo 400. I have no written documentation of the engine rebuild. When I purchased the truck, the original frame was part original and part 1/2 ton pickup.
